Cheapest Dolby Headphone / DTS Headphone adapter from Logitech

My recent hunt for Dolby Headphone devices was very fruitful. Did not want to be limited to Powerdvd / Windvd (with their support for Dolby Headphones) for watching videos with earphones, but even the best earphones still blast music into your ears.

Presenting:
The cheapest Dolby Headphone / DTS Headphone virtual surround add-on on the market today. Only caveat? It is only for PC / Mac. You will need to install the Logitech driver. After that, hook up the most badass earphones / headphones you have, and your favorite youtube MTVs will never sound the same again! Listen to audio 'around' you, not blasting at you!

Get it from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hope someone else can also benefit from my experience.

I have not tried that yet. So far only watched movies with stereo sound. I suppose that based on the player, the surround track will be down-mixed to stereo, then processed to dolby/dts headphone.

I also do not have 'true' surround headphones, so won't be able to tell the difference.

FWIW, Powerdvd recognised the usb adapter as a 8 speaker audio device, as seen in the image. I was able to play a Dolby 7.1 encoded demo video with no issues through powerdvd and also vlc.
