Do update us on the Westone TS1 please. At the end i bought the Westone TS1 which i feel fare much better in the other genres like jazz, vocals, classical music. TS1 sounded much more balance with just enough punch in the bass to keep me pump up in my running playlist. In Jazz, vocals and classical tracks, it sounded more refined in the mids and highs with rich and tight bass enabling me to hear bass notes more clearly as compared to the Ajays which sounded muddy. In terms of build, both are good but i prefer westone TS1 fit and comfort. I would say the Ajay4 is good value for its performance but the TS1 has my vote, unfortunately for double of Ajay4's price. Last but not least, kudos the the staffs in Stereo for their great service ![]()

thanks for all the suggestions!
In the end, i bought the A-Jays 4 instead. Bought it at challenger at only $106.Flat "mee-pok" like cables, and the ear caps seem a bit too big for my ears, doesnt seem to be very comfortable initially but alright once i get used to it. ![]() |

Was contemplating between the Shure SE215 and CKS-90i when I went down to Ion to test out the both of them.
It was when I came across the Westone 1 which started to hook my taste butts. Does the TS1's mic and button function work properly with the iPhone devices? Saw an review online that they don't work with iPhone 4S but Apple's working on an update. Aron, can I get a PM with regards to the stall promo for TS1? Thanks in advance! |

reviving this thread as I have would like some recommendations.
however, I prefer bass > clarity. have tried CKM55, AJAYS 1, AJAYS 4 and found AJAYS 1 with best bass so far. after reading thru some posts here, realised alot of u doesn't rec AJAYS. am currently using creative EP660i which i liked the bass but wanted to upgrade to something better on the move and use the creative pair at work. ps: would highly need the mic for my s2, unless the bass over rules it. ![]() TIA~ |

Most iems with mic dont support android from what i know so its gonna be hard finding one... For bass maybe dunu trident, shure 215 or if you have abit more budget futuresonic atrio and then the ie8/80 frm sennhiser. Dunu and ie8/80 gives awesome soundstage with deep bass. If you like super deep bass and the thunp thump effect mayb go for atrio
but still you must go try these iems first as my ears and yours are very different ![]() |
