Both sound quality is similar. But I prefer Rockaway. Anyway bought Rockaway cos it's in red. But negative part is the ear buds. Might drop so will need to change to something that can hold

Just my humble on both.
Tried both at ION today.
Both sound quality are pretty similar, the sound output are fair.
Backbeat is lighter compare to Rockaway, backbeat gives me a more secure when i put it on.
Plus, when it's sync, there will be a battery indicator on the top right side of my iphone. So i know when to charge it.
Hence, i give it to Backbeat. But too bad, it's out of stock, re-stock eta unknown...

That depends on the individual ears but let us know if you can find something that fits better

Hello the Rockaway is selling for $128!

Its not water resistant so its better to get the Plantronics Backbeat Go or Jaybird Freedom which is very popular for sports

personally tried the rockaway after i bought the backbeat go (plantronics)
plantronics is good for voice calls, but do not expect any bass from it.

in fact, there is no bass at all.
by comparision, jaybird freedom, backbeat go, rockaway, jaybird freedom is still one of the better one. downside is the cable.

imho, if you can spend on bluetooth headset, might as well get the new sony bt75 series.
one of the top range bluetooth headset. clear voice, good bass

My personal experience with Plantronics Backbeat GO. I went back to store to exchange a new set twice within a week. It stopped working out of sudden and fail to power ON.
The "store" allowed me to return back the item and exchange with other items. I exchanged with a portable ext. hard drive, with the same value.
Basically the headset looks cool, as i mentioned in my previous review, the sound quality is good. However, it is not reliable, bad experience; thumbs down; unlike.

Hi, I'm using Novero Tour. The sound is good with bass. However, I dun quite like overhead type. I tot of Plantorics Backbeat Go or Novero Rockaway. PBG seem like quite big in size.
I dunno Novero Rockaway will sound like my Tour anot. I like the sound from Tour very much as it has surround type of bass. one thing I also dun like is the soft sponge for my Tour cannot be bought anywhere.
Now stuck..

How does the sound quality of Novero or the Backbeat Go compare with the older generation Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800?

Was looking at this 2 coz they are similar in form factor as compared to the Sony. Jaybird JF3 type is too big for me.

The Sony that lasted me for a few years liaoz, but the battery gets weaker due to age, so thinking of getting a replacement.

If the SQ is comparable to the Sony, then I might consider getting them.

What do you mean by downside is the cable for the Freedom?

Aren't they the same as backbeat go?

HBH-IS800 has the strongest bass among the three. In fact I think the bass is a bit too strong. Plantronic has very weak bass. Personally, I prefer the sound of the Novero....
