just to check if I have 2 mobile devices that I need spotify to play on , do I need to get the family plan ?
As long as not signed in simultaneously it'll work. I personally have Spotify on both my iPhones, my iPad, and both my laptops. You can save offline music/etc, but you can't login more than once at same time unless using offline mode.

Is the free 1 mth trial available for u? If it is, you can sign up for the trial and if you are satisfied, u can continue with the svc.

But the trial is offered by Spotify and not from Singtel, so you will not hv free streaming.

Worth it, definitely. Only 10bucks. If you're a working adult, chances are you won't feel the pinch.

got starhub anot lol.

anyway for anyone else with the same Spotify fee problem -- it's cos they charge in SEK, happily convert it to SGD so it comes out as a "customer chooses to be foreign currency in own currency" arrangement, and then the bank and issuer can happily levy a tax of their own.

woohoo. brownie points for transparency, spotify.

I just subscribed to Singtel+Spotify.

May I ask, will the data usage for Spotify (after the subscription) be included in the data tracker in My Singtel app, and that Singtel will minus off the data used for Spotify during billing? Or will the data usage for Spotify be excluded from data usage calculation in My Singtel app altogether?

Cause i see a surge of data usage after this subscription two days ago. So I'm wondering if the surge is due to my itchy hand anyhow use or attributed to Spotify.

Thanks!

Spotify have download function for you to sync playlist or songs you want to play.
However if you are playing from Spotify radio or shuffle playlist, it will add to the data usage.

Just download the songs/playlist you listen to most, don't use radio
or Artist shuffle if you scare high data usage.
