I just subscribed to Singtel+Spotify.

May I ask, will the data usage for Spotify (after the subscription) be included in the data tracker in My Singtel app, and that Singtel will minus off the data used for Spotify during billing? Or will the data usage for Spotify be excluded from data usage calculation in My Singtel app altogether?

Cause i see a surge of data usage after this subscription two days ago. So I'm wondering if the surge is due to my itchy hand anyhow use or attributed to Spotify.

Thanks!
singtel music subscriber for a few months liao. the data consumption is not included in the tracking stat.

If it's just skip/previous/next song or play any songs straightaway, that you are in need only, install xposed module Spotifyskip on free version, will do (rooted devices only).

Considering only 9.90 monthly . It's more than worthy in my case .
But having said that , there's a couple of DAMM good tracks which can't be found on spotify .
And that's the only completely I had .

holding Singtel Music w/Spotify Premium & Apple music monthly.

$7.90 and $10 per month.

both got their pros and cons.

Spotify:

Pros:

1) auto download of songs if u add into ur playlist and turn on download.
2) unlimited data on spotify if u are on singtel music.
3) SQ sounds a little better.
4) App stabillity is there.

Cons:

1) Poor songs collection. Some korean drama OST are not there at all.
2) Chinese song name translate to english for some of the artist. Eg. Power Station - Cai Hong become Rainbow. WTF?
3) Some old songs not listed.
4) No Taylor swift 1989 album.

Apple Music:

Pros:

1) Wide range of songs collection, almost 98% hit rate.
2) Chinese songs are properly named according to chinese words.

Cons:

1) expensive. $10 per month + streaming with data is omfgwtfbbq.
2) App stability not there. sometimes it refuse to load ur updated playlist, u need to exit, load the app again and refresh. FC sometimes on Android.
3) Able to hear the difference on the SQ for AM and Spotify. AM sounded abit bad, but still can accept.
4) Manual download is a pain. everytime u add a new songs in ur playlist, u must remember to download the songs. if not, u stream over the data.

On Spotify Premium. Anyone knows why sometimes in the midst of playing a song, it stops, and when it comes back on, the sound quality is clearly worse?

If you then restart the song with the forward/backward buttons, it recovers.
