I usually download the songs I like at spotify then I listen to the downloaded ones on the go, the data quite high for streaming.

not sure if there's a limit, but it's not CD quality (only 320kbps).

Tidal streaming is CD quality but it's pricier.

Spotify, for what it is, sounds really decent imo.

It is not download just sync the files or playlist
on your phone so don't consume data.
If you want CD quality 16/44khz not mhz, is Tidal
price at $19.90.

If you want cheap than just go for Spotify.
Please do also take note that files or playlist
that is downloaded on your phone are not raw music files.

If you have another mobile device, same thing you have
to sync the playlist or files on that device.

You can't copy and transfer raw music files from that
device onto other since there's no raw music files
other than a main Spotify file containing all the songs.

Anti-piracy by streaming companies to prevent people
from distributing the files.
Same with Tidal, if you want the individual files/album sadly
you still have to pay for it.

I hope this clear things up about the downloading songs
portion.

I'm going to share my fair bit on the sound quality. Yes there is slight improvement in audio quality. But it is not that great till you felt a total immense change. Therefore if you want to save up , and just listen to music without being picky on which track is playing now, just use Spotify free.

The main reason to go premium is that you get offline access on 3 devices, no limit on the number of songs you can save offline.

320kbps streaming translates to 2.4MB per minute or 115.2MB per hour of data usage.

singtel is 7.90/month for spotify premium 1 year.

9.90 is normal price w/o 1 yr contract. with singtel music, is free music streaming.

Both cannot be streaming simultaneously. However, you can set 1 device to go offline and play any songs that has already been saved offline.
