its good but not fantastic.
what you pay what you get

一分钱一分货

If want to buy and play around is nice..
low budget users at least got something decent to listen to.

But hyperbole to giant killer abit off la.
When you say flagship means you're up against HD800/T1/K701/GMP450pro and not monster beats.

I don't know about that. I have the HD681F currently and it beats the Audio Technica M50s in terms of highs, mids as well as soundstage.

As for flagship, it IS the main headphone in their company, not necessarily the best. The M50s are the flagship of Audio Technica, but they definitely do not beat the other more expensive AT headphones.

i would say it's more towards the fantastic side.
it's better than what you actually pay for

:D
Do note i'm not a audiophile or what.. just buy this to replace my aging zalman.
So i can't do comparison etc, if u want.. go search google on 668b reviews.. plenty in those audiophile forums :)

Do correct me if any term or etc is not to audiophile speak

FIRST THING.. this is a semi open headphone, so expect some leakage at high medium to high levels of music etc.

Let's see.. DAMAGE Is $68 dollars
No WARRANTY, might put off some. but for me i'm ok

If got problem, bring back and see what they can do.
Necessary additional padding or replacement of pad etc go back their shop.
Talk to the nice lady at the shop for any info regarding this.
She is friendly :)

Packaging as seen. Pretty big and nice.

Insides is neat and simple.
So u get

- 1 metre cable
- 3 metre cable
- Cable Clip
- Soft carry pouch
- 1 plug adapter
- 3.5/6.3 plug adaptor
- 1 manual

First impression of headphone and accessories

- Light (compared to my zalman headphones)
- Material for paddings is nice and smooth as expected of new product ( this one must see after some use)
- Frame of headphone is steel wire, looks and feels durable,
- Matt plastic used for the outside of the cups is decent for the price. I think it adds to the lightness of the entire headphone!
- Seams and treading of the entire headphone is good but await time test again.
- Dun really like "STUDIO MONITOR" word printed on the outside of the cups
( its in black so can't really see though"

The wires included are a bit thick
Including bag with superlux word on it. Just a simple cover to use.
Overall its has a nice build quality for its price.

Comfort Level

- the paddings are quite nice and comfy
- the steel wire frame on the top means it doesn't have that band like most headphone do resulting in less heat being trapped for me. Doesn't feel hot on the top of head anymore.
- After about 30 mins of usage, ear area feels abit warm. after removing cup.. can see abit of sweat on the cups and padding.

Compared to my zalman this is way ahead in terms of comfort level. but its new, so i give it a some time to "break in"

Music

First off impressions THIS IS NOT FOR BASS HEADS! i repeat once AGAIN THIS IS NOT FOR BASS HEADS.
While it confirm plus chop beat my zalmans any time.

Clarity
- i'm quite impressed, the music it plays are clearly distinctive.. and doesn't sound muffled, the flaws of the source can be clearly heard compared to my inear or my zalmans.

Soundstage
- Do correct me on this if i'm wrong.
Compared to my zalman and my inear. this totally beats them hands down.
i can clearly hear the distinct direction and sometimes "location" of the instruments. Once again.. this is based on the source u use.

Sorry i can't comment much on the music part.. that's all i can say.. i am not a audiophile

For a more "professional evaluation"

To sum this up.

This totally sweep the floor off my zalman and my inears. I am so gonna use this to listen to my music when i need it.

For the price, the build quality and music quality. i'm happy with this for months to come :D or until which it gives way to another better one out there :D
:D
