Should include post "foundation building" type of routines like texas 5x5 or madcow 5x5 .

If the trainee isn't bored of squatting 3x a week , it is good for squeezing every ounce of gains that is left out of linear gains weekly before transitioning into more of a strength based routine like 5/3/1 with monthly based weight increments

Just wondering why for SL 5x5
Workout A is BB row and workout B is Deadlift (alternate them on different sessions)
Why not do them both?

If one is to follow the SL 5x5, can he do other exercises like shoulder presses, curls etc?

I curl/do extra pullups if i don't feel that tired.

Most of the time i do pullups though.

rows/deadlifts both very taxing on back.

shoulder press=ohp wad.

so would it be great if i just do the main 4 SLs and not other isolations? for now?

hey the program is pretty simple. just start light and increase 2.5kg per exercise every workout. at the starting you probably will have enough strength left after the whole routine so you can throw in isolations if you want. just make sure you don't compromise the main exercises

at the later stage, probably won't be able to do even if you want

exact program i did a few months back

201 means the negative/lowering portion of the movement is 2 seconds, the static portion at the bottom is 0 seconds, and the positive/lifting portion is 1 second.

use this and apply to 601.

hey TS, i was wondering if i could still follow your ss guide in the first post if i had trained too much chest and little back muscles in the past?

That is to say my chest is bigger than my back muscles because i stupidly didnt train my back muscles in the past

Can the SLs be considered full body workout?
Would it be better if i follow the SLs instead of my current splits?
