it is possible.
install a DLNA server application on your PC.

haven't try that yet, Revue can connect to DLNA-compatible devices.

I was actually thinking of getting the revue with that purpose in mind so haven't got one to try it out. Tried googling but couldn't find much answers. Guess I'll wait a little longer for honeycomb to be done before buying one to try

how do you install PPTV, Le TV ? i did a search on the market but unable to find and i do not have a android phone

can advise ?

manual installl apk
download from pptv homepage should have the app for android.

anyway i find 2.1 media player are better then 3.1 for playing mkv with sub
3.1 sub will not work.

3.1 i dont find any good just for added market and smb etc
2.1 also support flash too

do manual install.
download the apk from the respective website,
put into the USB drive
use File Manager to browse to the /mnt/usbdrive
select the apk and install

another way is install third party Android Market, such as hiapk.com, appbrain.com, etc

There are many apps there that not available in google android market.

the thing about LeTV is the text is too small, because the apps is designed for AndroidTablet, not for big TV.
I have problem seeing the text from my sofa



Once the movie start playing, quality and text size is quite OK.

Did you try using the orientation control program to overcome those program that default to portrait will crash Google TV

half correct if u jailbreak atv2 can play all file
and stream all file over smb/dlna etc

1) run xmbc
2) added plugin icefilms and other
3) stream all file and (all sub support on nighty build ver)

was thinking would the palladine palroid pr220hd be a better player?

depend what u plan to use it for?

act like smartTV and HD player then logitech Revue will be better spec which i think

if not atv2 will be good too (down side 1080p are downscale)

i own both

avoid chinese live media player.
