Units near mrt r really gd cos very convenient. But lots r taken up. Only left blk 737 very gd but for other races I now staying near mrt can slp additional 20 mins at least next time I sure his let

Is there any grant if buy a sales of balance flat?

From what I read, it seems that there is no grant similar to BTO .

Anyone can enlighten me?

yes..there is no grant for sbf..unless u r from low income family...

They do offer the AHG- additional housing grant, maximum is 40k minimum is 5k. How much you are eligible to depends on how much is your combined income upon application of the house. So if combined income is 5k and above, you don't get the grant...

SoBF should be similar with BTO.
still have AHG (combined income below $5000) and/or SHG (combined income below $2250).
CPF housing grant only for resale flats, coz they say buying direct from HDB already with subsidized price compared to resale price out there

"The AHG is given to Singapore Citizen only (not Singapore Permanent Residence spouse). The grant once disbursed cannot be returned.

APPLICATION TO BUY A FLAT AMOUNT
Sole Applicant Full grant.
Joint Applicants (husband & wife) Half of the full grant each."

does this mean if I apply flat with my wife as co-applicant (SC/SPR), I will only get half the grant?
If yes, does it make any difference if I apply flat as sole applicant? (put my wife as occupier) : will get full grant?

Then on Sunday afternoon, we visited dew spring again, and this time I brought my parents around. And my dad pointed out that some units had flooring done and some didnt. So hubby and I got Upset cos the dew spring unit we wanted had flooring that we didn't want. The neighbours in dew spring were also very unfriendly.

We were too careless not to see that some units have flooring done and in the yellow booklet given, they would have mentioned "FF" which means floor finishes and they include the price into the price of the flat.. Which Can be as high as $5000 more. If you are ok with the flooring then ok la.. But if you are not, then you end up paying for the flooring, and later renovation cost to overlay cos cannot hack.

Anyway, we eventually took a jade spring unit...it was a lower floor but we liked the view. It was the only corner facing the school, which had greenery..

So please check every detail before choosing your unit. and it takes an hour for the whole selection process. They are very punctual. So be on time...

Hi,

I think I might have lost my marriage certificate in my moving from working overseas back home.

I however, have a copy of it , plus got a wedding card and I can go to the ROM to get a duplicate but it takes two days.

Would HDB not allow me to select a flat? because I am not able to bring original cert on my appointment date?

Does anyone have any experience ?

Now so worried.
