Really ar? :s31: den i better change all by this week, before it drops again.

Tamashi, blink blink means changing soon ar? i thought it means they are running out of that currency!:o

the last round it peaked at 5,82 or something, that was October LAST year.

throughout the rest of this year, it was hovering at about 5.5-5.6+

and thats just the XE.com rate. take away 3 cents and you'll get the approximate moneychangers' rate.

This would lead me to believe that the current rate is actually quite attractive,

Also, in Oct last year, the rates were attractive because of the economic slowdown. Singapore was the first to recover from the slump in SEA, thus the stronger currency.

This is just my personal observation and guess la, if anyone has a valid reason otherwise, be my guest, prove me wrong.

RMB & HKD Rate as of 27 Aug 2010

going to macau and zhuhai during early sep

juz changed some RMB and HKD at chinatown, the shop next to gold shop one
RMB 4.97
HKD 5.70

actually if we go shenzhen or zhuhai, the currency uses hkd or rmb? im confused..

my understanding is rmb ...
however, i hope the exchange of hkd -> rmb is ez at zhuhai.
my shopping list so far:
1. iPed
2. 4GB thumbdrive
3. almond powder
4. a pair of nice sandals

2) few adididas jacket at adidas outlet
3) couch/gucci belt at outlet
4) gf go shen zhen hoot many many ladies clothes
5) nice loafers or covered shoes
6) some shirts and berms

which get best rate ?

1) Arcade
2) Suntec
3) Chinatown

i think arcade? i dont like chinatown area. i went there to exchange my baht and hkd the other time round, the rates super low. went to arcade got better rates. but might be different rates for different time. u can go check it out. arcade got more choices, but the rates differs by not alot

still 5.722 as of yesterday, based on a XE.com rate of 5.750.
its 5.731 as of now on XE, meaning changing the $ will be prolly at 5.71+

Was at chinatown people's park just now...

Exchange rate is now 5.8 ....

Change a bit just now...
