4.7k with free tv is good buy.. What prompt u to upgrade and upgrade?
Very initial planned purchase was 65UJ632T. But found out it is so thick so decided to get UJ750T.

After getting 65UJ750T, I found out it is not true 4K panel so decided to upgrade to SJ850T.

Then now my renovation is done soon, still has some budget left. So backside itchy went to ask the sales guy if I wanna upgrade what is the best he could offer.

I did told him outside I could get $5199 for it with free tv. So he calculated and told me best he could offer is topup $1000 for what I had paid and will get 65C7T and free 49inch.

In short, Poison, Poison and Poisoned...

Yes, as long item not delivered you are able to upgrade. Pay $$ nia mah..... Who would say no to increase sales.

65SJ850T

Bought the LG 65SJ850T yesterday from Courts Bukit Timah.
Paid $3999 after all the discounts/rebates etc.

When it is delivered, need to cut out the serial number for refund from Futurix for offsetting the 43" free TV.
Refund amount is $530 plus another $30 voucher.
Freebies include an LG soundbar "worth" $249.

Total price after refund = $3,469.

Was happy with the deal until i saw LionCity Co selling $3749.
After refund probably $3,219

I thought of getting the onkyo ht-s7800 Atmos speakers for my lg c7t but not sure if it'll be able to output atmos from the TVs netflix . Does the onkyo needs to have hdmi arc in order to do so?

Most if not all decent amp should have ARC. Even my entry level yamaha of 4 years has it.

Ah, from the Amazon page for the 7800, looks like it doesn't support Atmos over arc

"the HT-S7800 DOES NOT SUPPORT DOLBY ATMOS (DD+) OVER ARC. This is an absolute deal breaker if you have a new LG OLED tv. This means if you want Dolby Atmos you need to sacrifice Dolby vision. What a disappointment, I wish I knew this before I bought it. It took me a month of troubleshooting to figure it out."

I bought the OLED Tv in mid August and 3 months later there were issues with it (there were vertical black and green lines on the screen like dead pixels. but it got worse and now TV cannot be turned on) and now it failed! I question the reliability of your product which can fail in just 3 months. Apparently, I am not the only one. Having encouraged my friend to also buy the same model of tv, his tv failed in just 2 weeks (same problem with vertical lines). He was lucky to get a replacement set and I thin that is the right thing to do.

As for me, I am also annoyed by the fact that the repair service is somehow lacking in customer service. Your call centre is good although I think better follow up action can be done to inform customer regularly on the status of the repair. I asked for a repair service to be conducted onsite scheduled on 18 Nov but instead I received a phone call on that morning and was speaking to a technician. So an onsite repair became a remote repair where I just briefly described the issues with the TV and he said I have to wait for 2 weeks for the parts to be indented. I am fine with this mode of repair so long the technician knows what he is doing and have the expertise to do so. Not an issue. However, 2 weeks later, I had to follow-up with another call to your service centre to enquire about the status only to find out that I have to wait till mid of december for the parts (which is not even confirmed at this moment). This then brings the whole waiting period to a month or even more. My big question is does LG expect customer who spent $5000+ for a tv which is supposed to be one of the best model from LG to go without TV for a month? I have never come across such service standard!

The lesson I learnt is never to buy from LG ever again. I advise against buying LG products. The TV is a lemon and I cannot accept your standard of repair service.
can share with me where u buy from???
