Saw the Philips 55" OLED TV going for $2599 at Best Denki's online store.
It uses Android so similar to Sony's OLED TV and colour reproduction-wise, all I can say is this. Panels are all provided by or under license by LG. Any picture enhancements are usually done on the processor side like Sony's Triluminous display on its OLED TV
Take note however, it uses the 2016 LG OLED panels. So not as bright as 2017's.
Also, it only supports HDR10 but HLG HDR is coming.
Performance-wise, the difference is subtle from one TV brand's OLED TVs to another.
Usually, if online price states $2599, you can bargain for an even lower price. So it can be a consideration if need be.
