LG :LA623T LED TV problem

Did a pixel test on the LED TV , found that there are grey patches (with white blackground) at the 4 corner of the TV. Is it normal or is defect (bleeding)?

Anyone can advice ?

Since your tv is under warranty, why don't you ask LG?

Yes, intended to but would like to check with other if this is a limitation for led tv. Basically the image is ok except that when the background is white (bright sky) will see some shadow on top 2 corner.

If this is a defect then will be quite dissappoint with LG/ Best denki as this TV just arrive yesterday and happen to be the last set left in the store.
Keep thinking is this a dispaly unit or refurbish unit.

Hi tmengyew, uneven backlighting are still fairly common with LED LCD TVs. And there are several contributing factors. Even in the same series, it can differ TV to TV. If it bothers you, no harm calling LG, especially since it's still under warranty.

Actually still quite ok, you just don't look at the corner but sometime just can't help it when you know the defect. Have call them to see what they have to say.

If this is a known problem, other also have it. I will acceptable it.

i hv the same LG model~ yes, there's some uneven backlighting near the edge, not exactly at the corner like yours~ its more obvious when i set to eco mode but if i bump up the backlight & contrast higher, its less visible~

The LG guy say is normal even change panel might have same result , not sure got throw smoke boom or not but went to see the 47" 623T don't have this problem.

Eco: Median
Pic Mode: Expert 1
Backlight: 50
Contrast: 90
Brightness: 50
H Sharpness: 30
V Sharpness: 30
Colour: 60
Tint: 0

Expert Control:
Dynamic Contrast: High
Gamma: 2.2
~the rest of the setting, i didn't touch~

suggest u play around until u happy with the setting~
