Maybe HTC thinks that 15 March 2013 is the auspicious date to launch their flagship phone. :s13:

I don't understand people bitching about the lack of microSD slot. There is this 64GB option. You want to store all your porn collection on your phone?

I used to have One X and I only used 25GB max with all my music, photos & videos, lots of apps, movies series, and a couple of 720p bluray movies. Phone not the place where you store all your collections. It was never meant to be that way.

I didn't see people bitching about microSD slots when iPhone 4/5 was out. Some people can never be pleased.
The thing with micro sd card is that it costs 20-30 for a good capacity card. if you buy a 64gb phone instead of 32gb one, you need to pay like 120-130 bucks..

and well, we know fruit wants ppl to spend all they have, so not a surprise there.. even more, none of google nexus line of devices have micro sd slot.

All i am saying is that it gives you an inexpensive option to increase your storage after buying a 16gb phone or something, if you want to , you can spend a bit more and have a higher capacity.

More choices..

I dont understand why in the world HTC is releasing the phone a day after the samsung unpacked event. They're probably gonna lose potential customers who will be swayed by the galaxy s4 phone.

Creating hype is one thing, but dragging it for far too long is nonsense. Not sure about u guys, but my anticipation is slowly turning to irritation :mad:

But do you know that high speed MicroSD slot cost the manufacturers around 80 USD?

That's the reason most of the HTC phones are generally cheaper than Samsung.

And also, I am pretty sure aluminium unibody is alrdy extremely tricky for HTC without MicroSD card.

There are trade-offs.

Sheesh... talk about market share. Why are not they launching it today.

Anyway I would prefer a 64gb internal storage over a SD card. Never hear iFans complaining about lack of external storage over their iPhones.

Yeah, and HTC One is full aluminium. According to HTC, it is the first phone with full aluminium unibody which means every single piece is made by aluminium. May be that's one of the reason microSD or removable battery slots were impossible. I have read somewhere that it is alrdy considered genius to put all those radio & antenna behind the full aluminium unibody.

One of my friends work in Lexar US. I knew that from him.
