I feel that they should have hooked us right from the announcement.

HTC marketing really epically screwed up here.

I waited for the announcement of the 10, and I decided that I was going to get it. Then I waited for HTC to announce it in Singapore, only to find out that the Facebook page has been abandoned.

From worldwide announcement on 12 Apr, I waited till 21 May. Facebook page died on 24 March. At that point even a simple message saying that it'll come would have made me wait, but nothing. I gave up waiting and got a G5.

Tldr; announce the availability early and don't keep us guessing.
Puzzles me too. I highly doubt its the marketing. It looks to me that they probably relieved the company or marketing person that handles their FB page.

Might be a restructuring process, or waiting for directions from higher authority how they want to manage Singapore. For sure, priority is not on SG after the past half-baked, half-hearted efforts. Poor results ultimately means budget for SG will drop. We can blame the previous team for all the problems we have to face now. Doesn't help when the whole company is not doing well. It's a mess. But getting HTC 10 shows intention. Hope this will save the company.

As a fan, we can continue to make known to HTC that we r still around. Not sure when the news will come for HTC 10. Can't wait? Just move on..... sadly

Just go back to the basic.

They cannot be "quietly brilliant" anymore, need to get their direction right back on track.

Alias with technical team, see what can be done to improve, on their products
Pull off this stunt just when they have the right product! MAD!!

I just browsed back M8 official video, not good.

Their focus is metal body & camera subject background adjustment only, nothing else.

Again, concentration on the whole phone capabilities & what function it has

I found the YouTube video, about 5 minute plus.

Browsed halfway, quit viewing.

Mr Downey really earned the money without helping the company, at all.

The commercial doesn't helped in promoting M9 at all, rather it promote Mr Downey

There's more than 1 video and I think he was used since M8.

Hi HTC,

A Facebook user wrote this in HTC Singapore Facebook

Darren Sia: Htc you need to quick... note 6 and ip7 already launching in 2 to 3 months time, and you are still struggling to launch your flagship...

He is right, with intense competition arising, HTC needs to be very decisive, action immediately, give clear & precise instructions

Maybe HTC can consider Samsung's strategy on having two flagships in a year, like a HTC 10 for the first half of the year then maybe a HTC 10 Max or something as the second flagship of the second half of the year.

I support this proposal, launch two flagship model a year.

I'm still a lover of M7 size. Good size for students and smaller hands. Please add that. Stick to your tested & proven alu case that Apple copied. You got it right on M7!!
