[HELP] Slow internet speed

I just changed plan to MyRepublic and just had the technician install everything for me. I'm currently using wired connection to maximise speed. However, using the same cable, his laptop is able to get up to 950MBPS download speed while on my PC I can reach a max of 80MBPS only (big difference). The technician said it is highly likely a hardware problem with my CPU, but he doesn't know exactly because he don't do PC service. Any bros here can tell me what exactly to replace to make me have the same speed as him?

EDIT: My PC is beside my modem/router so distance is not the issue here

Please share specs of your PC. Especially your Ethernet lan chipset.

I suspect you have 10/100 lan chip which limits you to 100 mbps max.

Its a Nokia router, but I cannot find any information on the model lol. It says manufactured in 2017 so it should be new

Don't have any other cable to try too, but the tech use my cable to plug into his laptop and get 950mbps

Networking issue not related to their equipment means it's not their job to troubleshoot.

Please check your network cable(from router to desktop) rating.
Cat 5 - 10/100 mbps
Cat 5e - 1000 mbps pr 1Gbps
Cat 6 - 10Gpbs

It also possible that the RJ45 connector pin on your desktop is corroded. Use contact cleaner to clean it.

Dont think its cable problem because the technician use the same cable and get 1Gbps on his laptop

We used the myrepublic speedtest site. There is no option to change servers. I saw the tech guy starting up his com, going straight to the site and begin the test. He didnt change anything also.

I will check which drivers are not updated and try this. Thanks! Do u know which driver in particular?
