So far, Asus is one of the better brands out there. They put in a lot of R&D. If you are looking at AC3200 routers, u may want to check the link below because it features the top 10 routers of the year:

it dont come cheap, so i hope i can get a good router and a good router for wifi .

Something about WiFi Eco Mode

AiHome is actually a nice app, not just a gimmicky me-too. I liked what I saw in the beta I received about two months ago.

Eco-Mode is something Asus were going to implement in the firmware as a feature of Keyguard. I don't know however if they dropped the idea of Keyguard, or it's still a work-in-progress. The idea of Keyguard was to have the router do certain things when a specific device is detected on your LAN. For example, it could drop radio power levels when your mobile disappeared from your LAN, and bring them back to max when the phone reappears.

I don't know if they have any plan to implement Eco-Mode with a schedule timer - that could make sense.

Done updated the latest firmware liao and install the apps .... but it say No Asus Router is found .........

Think because my AC3200 is a AP mode?

There isn't any fix i think, the ASUS router app need the supported ASUS routers to be in router mode otherwise it's will not work.

Let me verify with the ASUS TW RD on Wednesday and update accordingly.

Alternatively switch over your AC3200 as the router or hoot the AC5300 and pair with your TP-Link

Yes, cleared browser cache and can ping 192.168.1.1

Username and Password infront of me how come don't know. Only did a hard reset recently

Try to reset again and flash Merlin 378.56.2.

If cannot login then upgrade to 5300 Asus must be very happy
