Is it a good practice to reboot and reset back the router after updating the firmware?

-------------------------------------------------------------

After update firmware to latest version -
1.Reboot router
2. Press & Hold reset button for 10 seconds until Power Led light keep blinking.
3. Release your finger and wait for router auto reboot.
4. You are require to reconfig router settings.

Download Padavan version 3.4.3.7-072 to resolve the 5ghz issue. I gave up Asus firmware and I don't bother about the new release anymore.

I got the same problem, 5Ghz wireless not stable / not working after some time.

I suspect the problem is due to Asus "AiRadar" feature, so I disable the Asus "AiRadar" feature for 5Ghz wireless; so far so good, the 5Ghz seems stable, I'm on latest firmware with "AiRadar" feature disabled.

my 5ghz today d/c 5 times liao

on firmware:
3.0.0.4.374_4561

Update:

it seems that the issue was with my USB 3 port, not the 5GHZ dropping

the port kept on d/c by itself

now that i hv plug into my USB 2 port, no d/c issue nor is the 5GHZ dropping.

I recently signed up with M1 for 300mbps & given the N56 router.

Wired LAN connection to router gave me 100% of the 300mbps. But once on wifi, even if i stand beside the router, the download speed falls to like 80-90mbps. Any idea what is the cause for this? I am using N56 at my office and do not experience such a % drop like this.

After 1 year of using, my 5Ghz wifi started to drop connections. Looks like have to migrate firmware.
