D-link DNS320 LAN not working

Appreciate help on this. Haven't used this NAS for 2~3mths due to moving hse now set it up but it's can't connect to network. I see the led lights of Ethernet port behind flashes a few time during startup den all lights gone. The switch tat the NAS is connected also shows LED flashes den gone. Tried shutdown n restart a few times also like that. Can't see the NAS in the network. Anyone knows wats wrong? Dun dare to reset coz worried wipe off the data.

Check your power connection, is it connected snugly?

Reset to Factory Default doesn't effect user's data, it merely clear the NVRAM and set it to default value. Double check it's not due to the NAS RJ45 port as well as the network cable use. Also try different network port on the switch.

If all else fail, bring it to D-Link tech-support even if it's out of warranty. IIRC, a fellow HWZer had similar issue and it's due to faulty network port, he eventually got a refurbished unit at a low price.
