I have a friend who wants to purchase a all in one router with 802.11w (protected management frames) support. Does any consumer router support this feature? If not does the 3rd party firmware like openwrt support this feature.

I know Asus has this feature (at least my AC68U does).
They call it "Protected Management Frames."
You can see the option under Wireless - General.

Seems my n56u is long forgotten by Asus...
Btw does you router have the option to only enable protected management frames for supported devices?

There are 3 options for this setting:
disabled - default
capable - that would be the one you want
required - if you only want PMF-capable devices to connect
