If netflix only needs 5MBPS, why cry about only 10MBPS input?

I have to ask, why do you need more than 10MBPS? It is only a smart TV, you can stream HD movies perfectly and with bandwidth to spare at that speed. Netflix only needs 5MBPS (25 for UHD). Your model is a HD, not 4K. You can not download a movie into the TV, that is what a DVR is for. Trying to shove 100MBPS into a TV is like trying to put 100 pounds into a 5 pound bag. As it is, your set can apparently handle twice as much as it can use. Where could the extra 95MBPS you want possibly go? The TV should show something on its display, and make some sound, but then what?
