in order to know your modem or router IP address,

connect up the RJ45 cable

perform the DOS command "ipconfig"

see the gateway IP address <-- same as modem or router IP address

type the above IP address to the default browser ( no proxy setting ) and you should able to see the configuration page

You can use the Residential CD to set it back to ADSL2 + router mode (PPPoE/PPPoA)
Hi Diavonex, mine when I did a hard reset -> back to Singnet default gateway mode. Does yours do the same, or supposed to stay bridged?

Thnks.

hard reset I think will change to gateway mode means default factory setting.

Hi Diavonex,

what is the different between PPPoE/PPPoA??
if i set my 536 modem to bridge mode, do i need to do anything to configure my router?
for me, i connect the phone line to the modem, connect ethernet cable from modem to router.
connect both PC using ethernet cable to router.
i just need both PC able to surf net.

thanks.

You must set PPPoE or PPPoA on router; after that you should be able to surf the Internet on both computer.

Have sent you 16 screen shots on how to set ST536v6 to bridge mode.

Have a go; come back here if you are stuck.

Note: Your Gateway is a ST536v6 (ADSL) and not ST536i (ISDN)
