Just to share a little: its not necessarily that all iPad 2 hard-fitting cases will not work with the new iPad.

For instance, the $9 Belkin SnapShield Secure case (bought at the IT show) works perfectly!

Anyway, is there anywhere I can get the original Smart Covers at a discount?

Interestingly, the Belkin Snapsecure case (which I bought at S$9 in the IT show) fits perfectly - think they oversized the dimensions a little.

Camera lens hole fits too.

Some can some cannot. I'm not gonna try though cause my old case, the switcheasy canvas for iPad 2, is super tight for the iPad 2 so I doubt it'd fit.. I don't wanna risk scratching it while trying x.x
