I supposed all iPhones bought in sg still under ST warranty, why bring to other shop for repair. FYI, I just went to ST Comm Centre to get my iPhone replaced for a NEW Set.

My old iPhone's Power switch (Wake/Sleep) button got stuck/sink in, I went to Comm Centre to get it repair but was given a New Set as replacement.

1. I was told that so long the iPhone is working, nothing can be done from ST.
2. I have the same thinking that if I get done elsewhere, but was told that the warranty will be void.
3. Infect I do not want to a replacement, cause mine set was the batch bought on the iPhone SG launched.
4. Very reluctant but better than warranty void and having to bear with the difficulties to On/Off/Wake/Sleep.

Just feel very unhappy when the staffs there told me to continue using it as there was no software or hardware faulty. They (ST) cannot do anything, the "Button Sink" in is not in the list of warrant.

I asked them if they themselves will continue using a set that having difficulty in the Power Switch and bear with it. in the end, I was granted to replace for a New Set. (Very disappointed!)

The problem with ST are :-
1. Any Buttons that sink/stuck in but can operate still consider no fault.(Customers bear with the inconveniences)
2. No repair specialist yet you cannot repair elsewhere.( Warrant void)

You're such a greenhorn. Do your homework b4 you repair it and don't make noise. You went to find him yourself. How did he cheat you?

Hi

any iphone repair shop in sg. not in sim lim sq. this f88ker cheat me. They lied me and put their part so now i am in great trouble saying that it's not working. pls let me know thankyou.
first, your english is horrid.

first line.
any iphone repair shop in sg.
are you asking a question or?

not in sim lim sq
so you asking for an iphone shop that is not in sim lim sq or you want one that is?

this f88ker cheat me.
do you mean you have yet to fix your phone and ask to change?or this guy cheat you that there is one in sim lim sq when there isnt?

They lied to me and put their part so now i am in great trouble saying that it;s not working.
they repair and put their part and who you tell when you are in great trouble?

pls let you know what?

how to help when you don't even make yourself clear?

this is not english class, but it;s also not a forum for pre schoolers either.

even broken english sounds better.....

like ' i bring iphone to sim lim and the mn bluff me say they no put part in my iphone but they put then now i go singtel change they say cannot then now how ?' sounds better than your version

(if that is what you are trying to say in the first place)

anyway, i agree the TS english is horrible. can't understand what he talking.

Lst if he go sim lim square to fix his iphone, he should stay and watch what the repair man is doing to his iphone.

if tested working then pay...if not working, obviously not fixed yet..so where is the cheat coming from? unless TS never monitor what the repair man is doing to his iphone, then we can say he is a greenhorn.

TS also never define what problem his iphone encounteer. is it software fault or hardware fault? Nobody can help him if he does not explains what his problem is clearly.

i agree with darren and trip. You have to define how you were cheated. The fact we even replied proves we want to help. But you dont wanna help yourself. & what was the f88cker for? Tell us how is her a f88ker. "God helps those who helps themselves". Tell us more or give us your telephone number and his.

I seriously, totally agree with you. I think Apple Singapore has to step up, as Singtel is saying this cannot claim that cannot claim.

The thing is that if you contacted 1800-myapple, and talk to a tech support over in Australia. These so called non-claimable stated by Singtel, are actually VALID and covered by Apple.

So, i really think Singtel has to loosen up a little or Apple Singapore has to shake some sense into them.
