Singtel on LTE: Sometimes cannot receive incoming calls

Hi all

Anyone experience issues where ur phone did not ring but receive sms telling u someone could not reach u?

I just tried calling myself with another phone with LTE on and the call did not go through! tried a few times also cannot and receive sms for missed call alerts! Then try again it went through

I realised that when calls come in lte becomes 3g.. i believe the network is not switching fast enough at times as LTE is only for data and not for voice calls...

Anyone experience this or tired it yet. Sometimes can sometimes cannot...

one of the main reason why i moved away from M1.

been using m1 since their first day, gave feedback but
all they did was "reset" their end and feedback if there's
any problem.

i switched phones so many times within one year, only
to find out that it was the network.

but I am surprised ST also ....

I'm having the same problem as you , I'm on Singtel as well

This problem only happen when I am at home

My house is able receive LTE signal but very poor signal like just one bar and often my friends could not get thu my phone , then I will receive the miss call sms

I have try calling myself by my house phone, sometime it didn't get thu as well

I try calling my phone at my office area where LTE signal is max 5 bar , my call always works

So No choice I off the lTE signal when I am at home

ya last night i try to call myself with landline also cannot get through at times. Loks like must be very good reception before can get through.

Hopefully singtel will upgrade their setwork or is it an ios issue?

Hopefully it's just Singtel problem

I don't really want to waste time and effort to go and change SIM card or iPhone if in the first place they are in perfect condition

thing is we wont know unless u have 2 iphones 5 with 2 diff sim cards to test

Guess should not be a hardware problem. Thing is, singtel seems ignorant and kept saying the lines are fine... oh well

Does any know that Singtel at first dun wish to provide free incoming call? No per second billing, and I call u or who ever call will be charge will the announcement say yr number will be sending by SMS.....etc u are being charged for 1min
