Any good 14" lappie???(No Acer SXXX!)

Exclamation Any good 14" lappie???(No Acer SXXX!)

Just got my refund after returning a twice faulty Axxx lappie which is barely used in a week!

Plan to get a replacement 13/14" one this IT fair.

Any suggestions models?

Specs to look for:

-13/14" (don't want too heavy!)
-i5 processor (i7 if possible)
-4gb ram (hopefully hv 8gb upgrade)
-500gb HDD
-1gb Video memory
-DVD drive / removable batt

Price willing to fork out : not more than $1700.

Maybe Asus N45?
Definately acer not asus. It one of those with 3 colours type.

But since you mention it. I was looking at the Asus silver/pink ultra book.

Wonder if they have something like that but with a dvd-drive & a bigger storage.

Hi
I have 4 Acer notebooks at home n still running fine.
I believed it depend how much we takecare of the notebook !

U r d lucky few ppl. Tis is my 3rd time buying acer & all 3x it failed on me within 2 weeks!

I remember there's a sentence 4 e initials of acer.....but can't recall it.

Anyway to be safe, just go wif the crowd "acer is crap!".

Rather, you are the unlucky few. I know of friends whose whole family uses acer laptops and i myself am using one too without any faults for 2 years now.
But judging by simply the amount of faults you got within 2 weeks, it seems theres a much higher chance you probably suck at using computer or mishandle it very often without knowing.

I hv been using this HP Folio which i exchanged e crap acer ultrabk for same 2/3 weeks & nothing has happen.

Same for my previous Dell laptop for 4 years before i change it 4 d horrible acer mentioned above!

How do you explain that?
(or r u some1 fr acer......Hmmm)

ACER - Always Cheap Everytime Repair !!
CSB... now the cheapest brand is HP except thier ultrabook models..

I own 1 Acer, 1 Asus and 2 HP. I prefer asus brand best.

Try LG notebooks. its Korea brand and top in korea compared with Samsung. bought LG notebook E310-M since 2009 and still using it now. still problems free.
LG - Life's Good using LG products.

NO REGRET USING LG NOTEBOOKS.
