Will try it out soon.
I mostly drinking ang moh tea now.

You tried any other brand before?
I tried before Itohkyemon from Kyoto also. This brand is famous for their matcha kit kat and snacks

fwah. i wanted to order to try out their gyokuro and shincha but their shipping cost is damn expensive(almost 1/2~1/3 of the total cost) sia.

fwah. i wanted to order to try out their gyokuro and shincha but their shipping cost is damn expensive(almost 1/2~1/3 of the total cost) sia.
Yes. Now is Shincha period. fresh harvest

Shipping always expensive. I think they use faster speed one? They shipped on wednesday afternoon and Monday morning i received already.

They also like put in big box with some many air bubble maybe to protect tea package

i went to http://www.maiko.ne.jp/english/shopping/top.htm instead to try.
so far, only tried hibiki-an's Kuradashi Gyokuro and sencha.

gyokuro hard to get right sia. my 80g disappeared after i brew ~12 times.

depends on which tea. Gyokuro need warm but not super hot water around 60 degree.
Other tea like sencha do like 80 degree.
Hojicha etc do 100 degree.

$200 quite reasonable for one of finest green tea. Compare to China Yunnan Pu-erh tea. The high grade can cost $1000 plus or more.

Matcha is very hard to make. so i don't drink it unless restaurant make for me

i didnt follow the instruction the first time and brewed it the way i brewed the sencha, in the end not nice.
must 敢敢 add the tea leaves to enjoy it.
