Had a very satisfying tendon at Dote No Iseya. Opens at 11am to 2pm but should get there by 10am.

Went there earlier in the week. Pretty good udon but cumbersome system.
Have to arrive at 9am to take ticket. When returning still have to queue, they don't look at ticket number. So have to queue 1 hour plus to get in.
Didn't like the ramen there and also feel over priced.

They specialize in only udon. You're thinking of different place?
Went there after reading all the reviews and seeing YT vids. Didn't think the udon there is any special and certainly not worth the price and queue. Had better udons at more reasonable prices.
