Any suggestion on nice Ala carte Hotpot for a group of 4.
Not the buffet type.
Thanks.

i tried the steamboat at the basement food court of marine parade.

not too bad for a super set about $20 for 2 persons, although i think its a bit exp considering the amount of food, but the ingredients are fresh (prawns only 1 per person but quite big and juicy, fishball is those like handmade one, bouncy but only 2-3 per person).

soup not bad, but after finish eating will thirsty one.

i ordered an extra plate of mixed meat at 7 bucks, ended up very full.

oh ya they charge gst and service charge as well (if i never remember wrongly)

1) Tianfu @ Tanjong Katong & Tiong Bahru - I think is known as Paradise On Earth here...

2) Soon Heng @ opp. Jln Besar Stadium (RECOMMENDED!)

3) Chong Pang @ Turf City - $16nett with freeflow soft drinks

4) Bei Shang Chuan @ Vivocity

"一品天下" - "Pot of the World"

Located at 100 Eu Tong Sen Street #01-K11, Pearl Centre S(059812).
Operates from (4pm to 6am!)

The steamboat buffet is priced at $15/head with live crab (1 per person) and free flow of lime juice.

Was bluffed by this review. The lime juice is like plain water
$15 pax, to me the most worth $10 or less
Crabs are totally unedible, smallest I have seen anywhere, no point to cook it and dont even have chicken, very little variety
Hardly any cooked food and basic Man tou also dont top up.
