Went to one paper wrapped chicken place in Taman Sentosa long time back before KSL was built, not sure if it's the same one.

Used to walk there after shopping in Holiday Plaza, to have dinner.

Got to be Teck Sing or Bamboo Forest, which are located next to each other at Taman Sentosa. They have been around since the 80s. Served the past generation of Singaporeans who visited them and now looking to engage new visitors. I have ceased to visit either as I find that the quality is not up to par.

I remember the one I went to was a corner shop - next to a longkang. :s13:

Teck Sing and Bamboo Forest have almost identical menus that revolves around the paper-wrapped chicken. There were price wars back then as each would try to outdo the other. Free canned drinks etc. I suppose their kitchens are similarly staffed by Bangladeshis these days.
