I've booked a quick getaway on Vesak Day weekend.

Coach: SGD60 - The One Travel Services (Five Star Buses)
Friday Night Depart, Monday Afternoon come back to SG

First World Hotel - SGD98 Per Room for 2 Nights
Means Per Pax about $49.

Total: SGD109 for 3D3N (Including Coach Night) & Hotel.

I find it cheaper than most of the travel agent prices as they quote me $170 Per Pax.

I brought it early April. It's on Promo Price. Not sure now still have anot.

btw, this is the cheapest amount all the companies, i've asked Grassland, 707, Transtar, Starmart, The One Travel(Five Star).

Cheapest is The One Travel(Five Star) - $60,
Starmart - $65
Grassland - $75
707 - $80 (VERY EXPENSIVE).
Transtar - $90.

I can't recall whether it is Transtar coach. My colleague told me it was by 1 get 1 free to Genting. He already booked his for school June holiday. Booked about 1.5 50 2 weeks ago. You can check it out. It is $65 2 ways. Not sure promotion still on.

Plan your trip and get promo flight (from airasia.com) and hotel (from rwgenting.com). Book this like a month in advance, and also to get your leave approval from work as you planned a month or more beforehand. This is the most important part, you can get as low as SGD 70 for return/two-way flight. First World hotel you can get a room for MYR 90 (MYR 130 on weekends).

The flight lands you to KLIA2.
From KLIA2, take aerobus going directly to Genting, costs RM35.

Breakfast buffet in First World Hotel costs RM25.
Lunch buffet in Coffee Terrace costs RM38.
Dinner just eat from any place there, or even Old Town Coffee eatery.

Place to go? Depends on each person. Normally, for me, ride the skyway cable car (RM 6.40 one way) and there's free shuttle van going to strawberry farm (RM 8 entry for adult / RM 5 for child). For another day, coming from First World Hotel, take free shuttle bus going to Chin Swee Temple.

Going back, take skyway cable car again, but this time when at that Gothong Jaya skyway terminus, take bus going to KL Sentral (less than RM7). From KL Sentral can take coupon taxi going to MidValley Megamall for city malling, if you are the gadget guy go instead to Lowyat Plaza (can take Monorail train to Imbi station then walk). When you're done, go back to KL Sentral, then take the high speed KLIA expres train going to KLIA2 (cost RM35) and take your flight back to SG.

Summary (4D 3N):

FRI : Flight to KLIA2, bus to Genting & hotel check-in, stroll around indoor theme park & dinner
SAT : sleep long, skip breakfast, buffet lunch @ Coffee Terrace, skyway to Strawberry Park, go back, at night can do bowling
SUN : take buffet breakfast then rest more, go Chin Swee Temple by late afternoon, then when back can have dinner then watch the movie at night (there's a movie house within indoor theme park).
MON : sleep long, check out at hotel, go down to KL (MidValley) for lunch, then finally to KLIA2 for flight back.
TUE : back to your damn workplace.
