got another question. At genting de casino, if convert slot points to GP, every conversion will they deduct a few GP before converting? or they do direct convert without deduct? e.g you have 15 slot points, after convert you are left with 10GP?

No. It's 1 to 1 conversion.

Hi everyone!

I'm heading to genting for the weekend and would like to know if it would be better to change money in Singapore or head up to genting? If genting, where/which counter would you guys recommend?

And I'll be there for 4 days... Anything else to do besides gamble?

Thanks!!

those that booked first world hotel, if you try to self-checkin and the screen show "we are unable to process your request" do not proceed to queue at counter as there is no available room for early check in. wait a few hours more than try at the kiosk again.

For those going Genting via klia2.
You can buy the bus ticket at the airport
each person is 35myr , 2 hours journey ...
bus depart 930am 1130am , almost every 2hours once, etc

if buy online, can get up to 20% rebates ...

you would be brought to the mushroom farm bus terminal
from there, you can take a free genting bus (interval 15min) to first world hotel lobby. if you are staying at genting or resort or maxim hotel, you have to drag your luggage about 15min walk to your hotel from first world hotel lobby.

You may want to get your aeroline tix early....can be fully booked....then you may have to wait for next 1 or 2 coach....

Else grabcar at MYR 110....KLIA to Genting (waiting time is approx 6 min). Please go outside and enter the door number (usually at BK is door 7 or 8).

I ever took Transtar going to Genting many years ago. The chairs are comfortable and spacious with personal entertainment system. They have a steward on board to serve drink, snack and meal (no need to pay extra inclusive in the coach ticket).

Yup agree. Transtar is one of the better ones out there if you dont mind the cost.
