Where did you see $1.50? From the link? If so, notice that's the MAX fare.

AFAIK, $1 to JB CIQ, $1.50 to Larkin (since CW1 heads for Larkin, and that's the max distance).

If you don't want to bother, just get their Manja Link card like some of us do.

I use the ManjaLink card mainly out of convenience of not having to deal with cash and change.

Just have to tap whenever you board the bus, no need to tap when you alight.

I hardly look at how much is being charged, only check if there's enough credit balance for subsequent trips. Can top-up at any ManjaLink counter.

Check the link given to decide for yourself if it's worthwhile.

21. Does my ManjaLink card have an expiry date?
Yes, it does. Every ManjaLink card is active for 6 months after the last top up. Upon expiry, users can choose to keep the cards active without engaging in any transaction for an additional 6 months if they tap their cards at any of our ManjaLink Self-service machine. After the 12th month, cards must be topped up to remain active.

SBS ones usually 29 seats available and most people do MRT transfer = cheaper overall

some CW drivers accept RM1 from JB > Woodlands (no receipt) but getting rare nowadays
