Me too... final bonus for Jul is in... swiftly FAST out already

a query on FAST transfer. I understand this is better than using a cheque..

Is the a limit set for the FAST transfer and the same amount for all local banks here?

Register the same month you wish to enjoy the promo because it's starts once you open the acct. New acct so no issue with fall below fee

Hi guys,

I'm a bit slow with this HSBC step up promotion mechansim.

I did a sign up in mid Aug but only transferred fresh funds in early Sep (one-time) . Am I supposed to leave the fund untouched till end Oct to get the full 1.5% benefit?

Thanks.

are you expecting any welcome gift? if not, you don't have to keep a min sum for your promotion. you can transfer out whenever you like and they will calculate the interest base on the daily average balance

For new joint account for person A (existing hsbc advance account holder) + person B (new to hsbc) , the debit card spend will be based on person A or would a new debit card be issued and spending for the bonus interest be based on this new card?

A will rec'd another new debit card for the joint acct.
B will also rec'd a new debit card for the joint acct.

Spending using these "joint-acct" debit cards will be against the joint acct.

For A, he can continue to use his existing debit card which is for his single acct.

My cycle ends in Sep, when shld i ask SO to open new joint acct? I recalled hsbc took up to 2 wks to open acct... so thinking if i shld apply on 1 Oct or now? Can apply and start prpcess and set up first but put in funds into new joint acct only 1 Oct? Will the 3 mth cycle count in Sep also? (Dont want to waste).

If joint, got welcome gift? SO had a personal premier acct which he closed early this yr.. Will a new joint acct with SO be entitled to welcome gift?
