Yes. I've recently been reading on the bogleheads investing, and been trying to put money regularly on the ETF. Thanks to the seniors in this forum who keep introducing those. If only I found about this 10 years ago, I'll have more money. But better late than never.

However, I need some cash to set aside for short term needs (for the next 1-2 years or so), so I'm parking those in the most liquid and safer asset class. Currently parking them in the SSB, higher interest saving accounts (like OCBC 360), and some local banks preference shares.
Hi Soul77, when you shared you put money regularly on the ETF (which i am total clueless what is it all about), do you gain this knowledge from bogleheads investing site? I am trying to gain more on my investment knowledge Thanks in advance.

the max you can get from these is 2.xx%. STI etf gives 3.x% based on current price. and got chance for capital gain (or loss).

i dont play sti etf. i pick and choose the counters i like.

Hi, just checking for this account. A minimum of 20k is needed while the promo will last end Jan'16. May i ask, what will happen after that? The promotion's extension is up to bank's discretion?

Yup. All promos are up to banks to change when the specified promo period is up.
