Attend 19/20 RT - new window open but no charge?

I was not able to complete my RT (19/20 attended) within my window. Received SMS say "(Fm: MINDEF) Please be informed that your RT window has opened. You did not complete RT in your last window. Plan your fitness training and book your RT."

So am I still getting charged or not? Previously (during the 5 station era) they won't open my window until I attend the summary trial - and the SMS will also label me as defaulter. So I am confused AF.

The NS hotline also cannot tell me a clear answer. Please advise.

as u already have been notified that your RT window is open, means u can go ahead to book your RT directly. Unless the system denies u from any booking.

But will they still charge me? The SMS didn't mention I defaulted so I am concerned about this.

During the 5 station era, got charged twice. But 3 station Era, this is the first(since they say they reset all previous charge).

My fren say now IPT and RT is the same. IPT every year clear 10 sessions. RT every 2 year clear 20 sessions. Is it true?

Both IPT and RT will receive 1/2 day service pay.

IPT - 10 session/year
RT - 20-D sessions/year

Both has 1/2 day svc pay.

your fren is only half right. check NS portal for information instead.

for first timers usually will be waived as efforts of attended 19 session is what they recognised.

anyway NS hotline will not be able to give u a solid answer. tell the NS hotline to get your unit to contact u instead as they are the ones monitoring and manages your IPPT and other NS matters including charges.

Called the hotline again - apparently still have charge - new system just allow to book first, charge later, still need to talk to my unit to negotiate for the charge to be waived.
