MR-ed wef 31st March 2012 @ 34. Think i can be considered late as i ORD in Dec 2000.
My unit still hv 1 last ICT to clock nxt yr b4 stand down. I lucky cos i clocked extra highkey.

Actually Rong626 is not wrong. ORD is the successor term for ROD. But now ROD has taken a change in meaning to refer to the completion of NS career (aka MRed, ie posted to Military Reserves).

For my definition:

ORD = completed 2 or 2.5 years NS

MR = completed 10 or 13 cycles ICT (cfm no more ICT/IPPT/RT/manning, maybe ask to activate if there is real war if you haven't reach age 40)

ROD = reach age 40 (cfm is no more NS related activity for you even if got war)

I think I am one of the worse as I had only done 2 in camp training and am 31 yo. Holding list for the past 8 yrs. But the unit is quite slack for us compared to other combat units due to our age . My OC is already 40+ already from what I understand.

like that you seem to have to do IPPT or RT till age 39/40.....If can pass is ok, if fail kanna RT is

I also dun mind extending my ICT after MR...but I dun want to do IPPT when I extend my ICT..

anyway, MR = no more IPPT already ma...


so far no one know after MR, if extend ICT, need to take IPPT?
