SAF coporate mobile plan

Hi there all. I've heard of this SAF coporate plan for phones around. but not too sure of it. firstly how much does it cost for the data plan? with comparison to the 39.90 one offered by most telcos? Where can i sign up for it? And can i use it to get an iphone? or only non cam phones?

NSF is not applicable for CIS which is the discounted plan.
unless u r regular, then u will be eligible for the discounted plan.

NSF only eligible for the unlimited sms promo.

as for discount, it will vary across different plan and different telecom. walk in or call hotline to ask and quote MINDEF if ur regular.

I dun really know how much it will cost on corporate plan for the 39.90 1, but if I am not wrong the 25 bucks 1 will cost around 20 bucks on coporate plan..

i believe you can sign it up at any hello shop...

i believe you can. i dun think it restricts to just non cam fones

walk in to singtel and m1 main outlet before, outright rejected for mindef discount plan.

starhub i not sure.

unless the guy who did the sign up is blur, cos it was told only applicable for regulars.

for m1, can call in to their corporate hotline 1622.

as for discount, mindef and other company dun vary much.
typically 20% for low and mid tier plan, 30% for high end plan.

can refer to below link for a normal reference since its moe price.
not much difference across civil and some mnc one.

I applied for the M1 CIS just before nsf ord a few years back.
The $36 data plan will be $30 and the normal $26 plan is $20. I think you shouldn't go to the 'normal' telco outlets becos some of the staff will be bl00dy blur c0ck and anyhow say cannot apply. I applied for mine at the m1 customer service centre.

actually u can always smoke teleco with ur 11b that ur a NSF, only till a certain age than NSF is not applicable.

i did walk in singtel and m1, both say nsf not applicable during 2010.
even 1622 (CIS hotline), say NSF r not eligible.

oh yeah.. i applied around 2007.
long before those "free campus/camp calls" popped up. I suppose they stopped allowing nsf the cis plan after the student/nsf plans became more comprehensive.

Anyway the mindef plan is quite outdated lah. its only cheap if you choose the lowest and cheapest plan which is about $15. They only waive the $5 caller ID for 12 months after which they start charging you for it. On the whole the CIS discount (after adding in the caller id charge) is only around $4-5 discount every month, including GST.

in 2008 i still able to sign up CIS plan from starhub with no issue.
anyway mindef is comparable to others ba. typical 20%-30% on normal plans even iflexi plan, cos other govt sectors only getting such rates too if not wrong. similar to MNC too.

in 2010, comcenter ppl did help me put in CIS plan cos the counter staff acknowledge even though its for REGULAR.
its just a discount code, dont matter to them one.

the point about CIS is free caller id and auto roam, which will beat any public discounted plan flat down because of $10/mth.

if internal mindef roadshow, ur better checking intranet.

if public roadshow, u better walk in to their main store and ask eligible for CIS discount not.
unless the one u need is unlimited sms then available at most shop.
