its a hardware issue.

i've used both official and merlin and both cant work
Actually it's not, please refer to the VQ IPv6 knowledgeable on the list of IPv6 workable routers

ASUS RT-N66 is on the list, you will need to flash to DDWRT SP2 mega, it's not flashing to DDWRT SP2 mega firmware, enable IPv6 support and you can use it. You will need proper radvd configuration too as well

As mentioned by Anton in one of our correspondences, ASUS RT-66U/AC-66U routers support IPv6 but is not compliant to VQ IPv6 infra. Every IPv6 ISPs/RSPs implement their IPv6 setup differently which they deem best and there isn't a clear standard on IPv6 rollout

As i have mentioned before, I'm liaising with ASUS SG/TW to make their stock firmware works with VQ IPv6, as how ASUS TW do it and when, i leave it to good hands of the ASUS TW networking/firmware team. I'm just a product tester/user

I've read ddwrt can be quite hazardous to flash for the average N66U user :p u can easily brick the router

Will just wait for the stock firmware to work with VQ IPV6 then :p

Agreed

Better not try if you are not familiar with flashing using DDWRT firmware, 30/30/30 hard reset and restoration you might easily brick your router and you might have issues trying to RMA the router as well

dd-wrt is not for the casual user. Bricked one router 2 years back just by doing a 30/30/30 reset. Using serial recovery couldn't unbrick it. Stayed away from it since.

Oh it doesn't work for u too? I was give IPV6 configs. Set it up on my N56U and N66U, same thing. Can ping LAN IP but WAN gateway no response.

Dunno whether it's a wrong IP given to me or not. But VQ CS just keep asking me to try the same set of IPs over and over again =_=
Same issue with OpenWRT. We'll just have to patiently wait for a solution either from the vendor's/developer's end or VQ's end.

New Office!

Hi everyone,

Just to let you all know that we are moving our main office to 200 Bukit-Timah road (229862) and will be starting operations there on the 4th of February.

For anyone wishing to sign-up or just to say hello and talk to us in person please come to the new address and take the lift to level 4 (it's the building right between the two car dealerships).

See you there!

Testing with beta internal firmware and liaison with ASUS TW is already in progress, so far no joy and due to the coming chinese lunar new year, most @ ASUS TW are on long breaks unlike us Nevertheless i will keep bugging them to make this a priority

One of the reason being is that i want to use it as well

wao seh, you run home business? hosting?

Good work VQ for their added capacity and more direct route to Europe. Speed has improved a lot.

Amazing speed VQ! Could the sudden increase in speed have anything to do with MR launching such an aggressive promo? :p timing seems uncanny

On a side note.. Do people really drop by your HQ just to "say hello"?
