Currently using 203.211.152.66 and 210.193.2.66 as DNS.

Are there better options to use?

Also, is anyone facing problems with their router on 5G? I'm using the Asus RT-AC68U.

5G is very spotty. Network keeps disappearing.

2.4G is perfectly fine.

Does anyone have any idea?

Have not switched DNS yet. Will try OpenDNS later. Probably Google as well.

I updated to the latest firmware. Still spotty. Even tried the Merlin firmware and there was no difference.

Never seen those DNS IPs before Im always assigned

43.245.107.6 & 43.245.107.37

While 43.245.107.37 is very problematic 43.245.107.6 works just fine and according to test done before its faster than google and openDNS

earlier this year i also consider this question...can't really find a good/solid feedback on this...nobody really comment on this...
in the end i got the non-gamer 1gbps....

the ping still good and playable for games like Overwatch

forgot to mention, u can always use the extra $10 to get a gamer's VPN if ping doesn't favour u...

Thanks for the info.

Could I please check how you got those numbers? M1 help line?

I called in and they said DNS connects automatically.

I found the DNS numbers I quoted from a Google search.

Automatically select for M1 DNS. Bound to change from time to time.

I was considering as well, m1 is cheaper with lower speed, but you will NEVER saturate 300mbps unless you are hardcore uploading and downloading terabytes of data to local servers.

M1 is also its own opco while whizcomm is just riding on singtel.

After hellish experiences with MR and VQ, small isp, I scared to try whizcomm

Switched to OpenDNS.

Ran a Speed Test on www.speedtest.net

Getting 620Mbps for download and 930Mbps for upload.

Is this normal? Download seems a little low.

Am on a 1Gbps plan.

I recontracted at authorized M1 shop but was not given a receipt..

They did however send a PDF copy of the contract to my mailbox if I need to claim warranty for the router I give the contract?
