M1..Starhub..Singtel..MR Fibre

Hi guys,

I intend to sign up for fibre optics but don't know which operators to choose..

Currently using singnet..

I check and M1 provides the lowest rate compared to other operators.

In term of reliabilty.. should i use singtel fibre?

Please advise..

Best downloading Torrent and stable network - Singnet

Best Slowest network - M1 i'm M1 Supporter but they haziiii

Best unable sometimes fast/slow network - Starhub

U miss something Singtel best without their crapy paces router and without vlan taging, lol. With that 02 it's worse.

It's all about ur usage. I'm personally using MyRepublic. Do let me know what's ur usage like and probably we can streamline which is best for u. PM u soon.

I'm not a gamer but I do download movies and watching online movies..

U miss something Singtel best without their crapy paces router and without vlan taging, lol. With that 02 it's worse.

Guess you also missed out that they have speed cap during peak hours so that is the reason I go for M1 instead of Singtel.

My experience with Singtel ADSL is stable, dunno abt fiber. One thing I don't like is that Stinktel isn't really that transparent with their charges/billing sometimes...and they always cheap out on their routers regardless of the subscribed plan...and good luck getting 3rd-party routers to work without breaking a sweat

generally better hor? only single thread file downloads sometimes slower.

recently tried my friend's m1, and was surprised I could download from gmail pop server at 9-10mbps compared to MR's 4-6mbps. that got me excited for awhile, but after looking at m1 thread, i got scared off

MR just as consistent as my previous Stinktel's ADSL, very stable so far. Web browser download speeds could be better, but at least steam download peaks @ 9.7MB/s

priest dont come to m1 to hog up the already conjested network liao.

anyway, there is trottle to all 3 main isp in all kinds of way(BT download, peak time trottle, etc), those isp like MR or VQ doesn't have this kind of **** from what i hear from the thread in this forum
