Deciding between M1 and Starhub 1 gbps thoughh abit hesitant on the Linksys EA7500 router. No need for Google WiFi as each room has data point. Thinking of getting a separate ASUS router - is the Starhub Linksys router ISP-locked like Singtel’s?

Happy to hear from any Starhub promoters here too.

I'm on Starhub 500M with an Asus AC68 router.

If you are not a gamer, Starhub Fibre is good enough. I suggest you go for a telco plan that is the cheapest.

My router is up for more than 1 month.

Starhub is good especially with the cease of Analogue Tv by 31 December 18. Can actually take hubbing plan and enjoy a bit of Pay Tv.

The $15.00 /month is for iPad 32GB Wifi only.
Google WiFi is a router and so payable $15.00 /month, unless you choose Linksys AC1900 is free.
Contract means installment payment in 24 months.

This is what i understand.

HomeHub 1000 on Free 6 months HomeHub 1000 plus $15/mth for iPad- Google Wifi

1. The first part is refer to this link;

http://www.starhub.com/personal/stor...ogle-wifi.html

Where on the right stated $15.00 per month for iPad 32GB Wifi.

2. The second part is
Then go downward to see What's in this Hubbing Deal.

There is another link; Learn More ...

http://www.starhub.com/personal/bundles/homehub.html

In the Plus, these
FREE Linksys AC1900+ wireless router worth $299 or top up $15/month† for Google Wifi (set of 3)
(for HomeHub 1000)
Selection is either Linksys AC1900 Or Google WiFi, not both.

As Google WiFi cost $597.00 so add $15.00 per month in order to enjoy this set of 3.

Linksys AC1900 is free.

The differences is that the cost of Google WiFi is expensive than Linksys AC1900.

Conclusion.

There is 2 options actually for iPad promotion as in the package.

One option is select Google WiFi as router with $15.00 /month payable.
Or Linksys AC1900 as router as free.

How come the $15.00 is so misleading.

IPad is based on monthly installation of $15.00 x 24 months = $360.00
The retail price around +$500.00

This is on-going promotion for iPad 32GB Wifi since Dec 2017 offer by Starhub in the mobile section.

Whereas $15.00 x 24 months for Google WiFi is already out since day-1.

Just a marketing way to display several or combined package... as to include in HomeHub beside mobile already offer since Dec 2017.
