Asus PEM is $599 with 1 year warranty..

then, i saw lenovo S10-3s today at funan $549.. same dual core N550 but 2 yrs warranty.
not sure what to buy now..

I am biased towards asus
but the price and extra warranty from lenovo makes me think twice

S10 has 1 empty internal expansion slot which can be used for 3G WWAN card.

specs wise, i think its only the ion graphics chip that is different. same n550 dual core atom processor. RAM -wise, im not too sure either. depends on asus i guess.

Can you use a 6cell 63w/hr battery for the 1015pem on an earlier asus 1001px model? Spare batteries can be bought. Would like to know so i can change to a higher capacity battery

May I know why you said the ram is DDR2, not 3?

The info on ASUS's website says it's DDR3: http://sg.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=4Bf6sc0o5FMGABzh

Hello guys, would like to know from users of Asus 1015PEM netbook, what is its actual usage battery life.

Lets say for normal web surfing, 50%brightness, wifi on. How many hours can this netbook actually run compared to the advertised 10 hours.

Thanks for any feedback
