Have spoken to the CSO on the 2199 pricing for 13-ac033tu..the officer claimed to be employee promo pricing not for the public.

Sent from Samsung SM-G935F using GAGT
hi, you just call the CSO and ask for the promo?

I went to IT show on Friday, and they offered 2000 for the old i7 model (original 2299)..was tempted to get that until I was told there was the new AC models

Update on battery life:
Powered down the laptop over the weekend and turned it back on today, didn't observe any power drain. Can't do any longer testing than the weekend as I have to use my laptop on weekdays.

Hope this helps somewhat!

Late 2016 model use 7th gen intel kaby lake processor but theres pen or without pen support

Sent from Samsung SM-G935F using GAGT
Late 2016 models are using 7th gen CPUs

2017 Models are using the same 7th gen CPUs too but with additional support on stylus. 2017 models are slightly heavier than 2016 models @ 1.32kg.
That's strange. According to the person at Harvey Norman, the 2016 models also support the stylus. But it's not included in the package, have to buy from HP web store. I was told it cost $75.

The difference between the 2016 and 2017 models are the colour and speakers (2017 are quad speakers).

Not true, the older ones (non ac) have no digitizer on the screen to support the pen. You can see the windows ink support in the tech specs on the hp site

I think the HN sales got confused by the models. Late 2016 and 2017 models look almost the same but only 2017 models support stylus.

Just received my unit a while ago. Will share some photos here provided if I found a way to upload photos here lol.

Update: HP should really improve on their QA. There is a dent on my set and even before I unwrap the plastic sheet. Haiz... Got to call them tml and arrange for another delivery.
