Hi all,

I am looking for a laptop for photo editing. My requirements are as follows:
- screen size 13-15"
- minimum full hd resolution
- ips screen is a must (i will be calibrating my screen with my Spyder calibration tool)
- user replaceable hdd
- mini-DP output

Budget capped at $1.5k.

I prefer to avoid Acer laptops.

Thank you in advance!

Cheers,
Naro

If I were you I would avoid Ultrabook since they are quite thin and will over heat easily during intense photo editing. I would most probably get gaming laptops since the processor in it would be somewhat capable to handle the task. Maybe can consider Desktop.

Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK 6th Gen Core i5

Features:
Intel Core i5-6300HQ
6M Cache Turbo
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M and 4GB GDDR5
8GB of DDR3L
Screen size would be bigger (15.5 inch)

Would cost you under/around 1K

You can also look for ASUS Laptop for Photo Editing K501UX with NVIDIA GTX 950M
