I was previously infracted by...GASP...who else but flapdoodles for posting such a thread in edmw:

can an admin pls tell me if such pics are allowed? i have a pic of a baby pointing middle finger. would i be infracted if i start a thread with text like: why this baby so rude?

We must look at the context of using it, has the poster been continuously trolling others/ troublemaker history?

IMO, I am not offended by the gesture.

However, clause 6.2 of our member terms and conditions states that:

6.2 You may not submit, upload or publish through the Site or the Services any User Content that is inaccurate, misleading, libellous, defamatory, threatening, pornographic, obscene, indecent, lewd,

If a member's post is reported, the moderating team can at its discretion remove the said post if it is indecent or lewd. I don't think people will be infracted for posting a middle finger if another poster made a comment that was genuinely stupid/trolling/offensive.

More often than not, forum nuisances are frequently reported over this and are thus infracted.
