what about Community Centres?

it's much cheaper but is it good?

can someone review? thanks!!
lesson fee: $110-$135
number of lessons: 10 or 12
class size: 10-42 (shocking, isn't it)

btw the above ranges exist as different community centers charge their lessons differently and etc....

Passion cardholders are entitled to a norm of $5 or $10 discount from the total course fee. Finally! Another applicable use for the card other than using it to exchange for a doorkey to enter the study room and lending your mum the card when she goes to Cold Storage so as to accumulate points lol

To add on, there's no examination and no certification upon completion of the course. However, it wun be difficult to find a community center near your hse to attend lessons hence for those who value convenience, it is a pull factor. The push factor would be that lessons at community centers may lack "structure".

That being said, it boils down to your personal preference and objective of wanting to learn the language either leisurely or otherwise

i've attended lesson at cambridge bf but now i switched to NUS
reason ? cambridge cannot make it... they let me waited 4 months and still not able to open class for next level
in the end i had to withdraw and apply at NUS... wasted my four months and very bad customer experience from them

I'm interested to learn Korean as well.

Some qns I have:
1) If budget is not an issue, which is the most recommended school?
2) Where is NUS extension located?
3) Where is Singapore Korean School located?

Thanks in advance!

depends on time and type of test you are aiming for.

nus ext offers tests for klpt, lessons once a week
sks offers tests for topik, lessons twice a week (i think)

here's a comparison of both: http://hangukdrama.wordpress.com/201...klpt-vs-topik/

nus ext is at park mall opp dhoby ghaut mrt
sks is near paya lebar mrt

Hmm... I'm learning korean language is mainly for dealing with business associates. To be able to write will be good as well.

nex seems to have revised their fees for next year.
used to be around 400-450 for the 1st few beginner levels.
now even the intermediate and advanced are the same. (used to be 600-650)
