Hoots for now:

Love the new design, stayed away for so long due to the huge white block on past designs. Sadly it does not come with the M.2 Shield when the product page shows it has as their main pic.

Beautiful waterblock!

Take that chrome!

NVMe!

Direct from Gigabyte HQ???

Freebies!!!

Actually I went for the Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 5 over the Gaming 7 was because I don't see much difference between the 2 motherboards. Upon opening the box, I realized the Gaming 5 did not come with the M.2 Thermal Guard whereas the product page initially showed that there is. Contacted Gigabyte directly and they immediately changed the pictures on the product page but at the same time gave me the M.2 Thermal Guard along with the other goodies. Wasn't really expecting but yeah, Gigabyte is awesome!

Motherboard prep!

Ran into some problems with the M.2 Thermal Guard.
That doesn't look right? Not fully touching the SSD.

M.2 notch for the SSD and a notch for the Thermal Guard

Looks kinda fine here

Has some fins though. Will it cool the SSD?

Rams are in! Colour goes well eh?

That's all for now!
