apple ear pods rocks. how to use on my s3?

i've spent countless $$ on earphones... apple's latest ear pods really really good... very airy and good sound stage, yet still achieve decent bass. much better than those silicone types which make ur head feel compressed. i actually prefer them even to my 200+ etyomotics.

tried using with my s3. play pause button works, but mic is fail (very very soft).

is there anyway I can make it work with s3?

my other idea is just cut out the earphones and reconnect (solder or otherwise) to samsung wire. but thats very messy and won't look nice.

Unlikely you will get the full function from apple earphone jack to work on Android phone.

I am using in-ear earpiece from Fischer Genesis the sound for its bass - mids - high are fabulous on my S3 cost $100+ from stereo.com.sg @ PS. It does not have mic nor volume control.

Used to use Klipsch on IP 4s it is not bad too with Mic function and Denon ones previous SE phones

i have ajays to klipsch to sennheiser and also lastime etymotics...

the apple one is quite shiok and price is not bad thats why i can even consider cut the pods to connect to the samsung wire / remote.

There are quite a few earphone button management apps on the Play Store.....no harm trying them out.

Maybe Samsung trying to be funny on your S3, or u never plug in completely?

I tried it on my Nexus, works fine less the volume buttons.
